Here is the recipe with approx measurements as this needs to be adjusted per your taste and texture –

Pumpkin Spice filling
. 1/4 canned Pumpkin Puree
. 1/4 Coconut Milk
. 3 tbsp Turbinado and Coconut Sugar (you can use any kind of sweetener you like)
. 2 pinch Pumpkin Spice
. 1 pinch Saffron (optional)
. 1 pinch Cardamom (optional)
Take a saucepan and mix all these ingredients and keep stirring approx 15 -20 mins on a medium heat until it forms one uniform lump and not sticking to the sides of the saucepan.
Taste this filling and adjust the ingredients according to your taste.

Chocolate Nut powder
. 2 pieces of chopped Unsweetened Dark Chocolate (prefer 70% or more cacao)
. 2 small handfuls Almonds
. 2 small handfuls Walnuts
. 2 tbsp Turbinado Sugar
Grind all these ingredients in a fine powder form. Make sure you don’t make it a paste or else it will be hard to roll into truffles. Taste this powder and adjust the ingredients according to your taste.

Now, mix both the Pumpkin Spice filling and Chocolate Nut powder together and roll the mixture in your palms to make a ball. You can garnish the truffles with powdered sugar and orange zest.

The secret to this recipe is using a good quality chocolate, I prefer using Scharffen Berger Unsweetened Dark Chocolate which contains 99% cacao!

Have a wonderfully safe and scary Halloween!
